2014 was an amazing year (one of the best), filled with amazing new people and experiences, and I cannot wait to see what 2015 brings! Enjoy, and see you in the new year!
A few weeks ago I mentioned that I would be getting to the Toronto Christmas Market at some point this holiday season, and that I would share some photos with you after I had gone. I am going on vacation with my family and getting on a cruise tomorrow, so as my last post until the new year, I thought I'd leave you with some cute pictures and holiday inspiration. 2014 was an amazing year (one of the best), filled with amazing new people and experiences, and I cannot wait to see what 2015 brings! New Year's Eve is one of my favourite nights to dress for, since pretty much anything goes. There is so much happening on that night that you can do anything you want to be doing, and therefore dress however you feel like dressing. Keeping this post short, I'm going to get right into how to dress for New Year's for different occasions. All of these pretty much work for both warm and cold weather locations, of course tweaking an item here and there (like stockings for somewhere cold, or switching black pants for a skirt for somewhere warmer). My favourite themes for New Year's outfits are sparkles, metallics, and monochromatic, so these outfits all play on at least one of these themes. House Party This swingy metallic skirt is so playful and fun, and paired with this simple black top it's the perfect balance of party and sophisticated. This cute little clutch adds some colour and pattern, and a subtle red lip finishes the look. It's chic and classy, yet still fun with the crop top and skort. Top: Alice + Olivia Skort: Witchery Bracelets: Madewell Bag: Gilt Shoes: Gianvito Rossi Lipstick: NARS Roman Holiday Dinner Dinner is a great option for a New Year's Eve celebration. You can do up a big fancy dinner, with one or a few people, or decide on a more low-key night with your significant other or bff. Top: Kookai
