We all told her she would never wear the purse, and of course, as she was cleaning out her room years later she came across the bag and decided she was finally going to get rid of it because she was just never going to wear it. Even though I had never had an occasion to wear the purse either (it's very bright and I'd never been a huge fan of the colour), I decided to keep it because it was very cute and practically brand new. It sat in my own closet for years until this spring when I noticed this colour popping up a lot. Greens to me are usually more of a fall or holiday colour, but I suppose because of grass and tree leaves being very lush in the summer, it really is perfect for the season.
So I pulled it out and finally wore this bag, and I have to say I can't believe it's taken me so long. I absolutely love it. The small size is also on trend right now, and it gives such a beautiful pop of bright colour which I'm loving this season as well. Especially with a minimalist outfit, which as you may know I wear a lot, this bag is perfect. But you can also go all-out, like with other bright accessories and another bright piece, like a bright yellow top. Has this ever happened to you with an item you've had in your closet? Let me know in the comments!
